First and foremost, we wish you, your family and your communities all the best for good health and safety during this very uncertain time as we face the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We continue to monitor and assess this situation regarding COVID-19, following guidance from the Virginia Department of Health, the CDC, and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Your safety, the safety of our co-workers, and the safety of our community are paramount to everyone here at Alexandria Hyundai and Genesis of Alexandria. To that end, we have dedicated resources focused exclusively on the cleaning and sanitizing of our facilities. All places big and small - restrooms, waiting areas, public spaces and more. Most recently, we have intensified these efforts, increasing the frequency with which we clean and sanitize these areas throughout the day. For those of you visiting the dealership, you’ll notice we have added hand sanitizer and cleansing wipes in our facilities for our guests’ use.

Our teams are trained on how best to keep themselves healthy, as well as provide quality services with the health of customers and co-workers in the forefront of their priorities. From vehicle servicing to vehicle detailing, our team members are trained and dedicated to providing quality services with the health and safety of all foremost in mind.

In terms of convenience for guests who would rather stay close to home (or work), we are also providing the following services:

Complimentary Service Pick-up and Drop-off

For guests in our trade area, we are providing complimentary service pick-up and drop-off. A member of our staff would pick-up your vehicle at your home or work, bring it back to the dealership for servicing, and then drop the vehicle back off at your home or work. Complimentary “At Your Location” Test-Drive

For guests in our trade area who are interested in learning more about our vehicles, we would be happy to bring one of our vehicles for you to experience at your home or place of work. Please call our Sales Department at 703-535-6840 for more information on this complimentary service.

Online Express Store just launched an online express store to allow our customers to take more control of the investigation, and purchase/lease process. The launch of this online express store was the result of customer requests to finish much, if not all, the purchase/lease process online, thereby reducing the amount of time spent in the dealership.

In sum, we are here to provide the services you need at a place, and in a manner, that suits you best.

Hyundai Hope On Wheels Donates $2 Million to Children's Hospitals Throughout the U.S. To Support COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing Centers


Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital (Cleveland, OH), Children’s National Hospital (Washington, D.C.), and Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) are the first three to receive $200,000 each to assist COVID-19 testing for children with pediatric cancer

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., March 24, 2020 – Hyundai Hope On Wheels® (HHOW), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supported by Hyundai Motor America and its U.S. dealers, announces a donation of $2 million for COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing Centers in partnership with children’s hospitals throughout the U.S. The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has created a particular threat to children with cancer, many of whom have compromised immune systems. COVID-19 drive-thru testing provides a safe and trusted way for children who present risk factors to receive the care they need. As a leading funder of pediatric cancer research, Hyundai Hope On Wheels has supported the health and well-being of children with cancer since 1998.

“Hyundai is a company committed to improving the well-being of society and the health of children,” says Jose Munoz, President and CEO, Hyundai Motor North America. “In the last few weeks, our society has been challenged with a major pandemic that has had significant consequences to life, safety and well-being.  Children who are diagnosed with cancer are particularly at high risk. Through our Hyundai Hope On Wheels program, we are committed to being a strong partner on behalf of children’s health and assisting during this time.”

The following children’s hospitals are the first three of ten to receive a $200,000 donation to support their Drive-Thru Testing Centers (additional hospitals to be announced):

  • CHOC Children’s (Orange, CA)
  • UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital (Cleveland, OH)
  • Children's National Hospital (Washington, D.C.)
